Cara is a Registered Osteopath with the General Osteopathic Council. She is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy and Osteopathic Sports Care Association. Cara studied her Masters of Osteopathy at University College of Osteopathy in London. She also obtained a Level 5 Diploma in Clinical Sport and Remedial Massage.
Cara is originally from Blackpool and moved to York in 2019, having worked with professional athletes over the last decade. She has experience in professional football and with elite triathletes. She is a keen sportswoman herself, having previously competed at National Level in hockey. Cara is very active and enjoys challenging herself to endurance cycling events and rounds of golf.
Cara is a reliable and confident Osteopath who loves what she does and places patients’ care and voice at the centre of her practice. She is passionate about providing an evidence informed and person-centred environment using a spectrum of interventions: osteopathic manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, and pain management and education.
