Adam graduated in 1983 from the British School of Osteopathy, now known as the University College of Osteopathy.
He is a keen yachtsman with a Yachtmaster qualification. Having played rugby for many years at Wetherby RUFC, he now coaches in the junior section.
Adam worked for fifteen years in the NHS musculo-skeletal service in Leeds and Wetherby.
He has a particular interest in treating the conditions affecting the older patient and in 2018 he returned to university to complete a Post graduate Certificate of Education in the Integrated Care of the Elderly.
